This simple recipe for mini turkey meatballs is one I love to keep on hand. Eight easy ingredients come together in less than 20 minutes for a delicious protein addition to any meal. They’re great for soup, pasta, in a quiche, as an appetizer, or even broken up for tacos. I make them in big batches and freeze for later use- which makes the mini size even handier, since they defrost qiucker than large meatballs.

I’m sharing these mini turkey meatballs with you just in time for the big game. That’s because I think they’re delicious on a toothpick and dipped into tomato marinara as an appetizer! Why stop at marinara? Maybe barbecue or buffalo sauce too. Yum! I love the idea of making a mini meatball board for entertaining. Load up the center of the board with mini turkey meatballs on toothpicks, carrot sticks, and celery sticks, then dress it up with small bowls of various sauces and dips. How fun!
They’re also a great food for little ones! If you’re following baby-led weaning like us, they’re easy to break apart and super soft for your little one to chew. You can grab some of my other favorite BLW recipes on my website here like these BAKED OATMEAL FINGERS and SPINACH BANANA PANCAKES.

I will admit that I think these mini turkey meatballs are totally elevated by using homemade breadcrumbs. I’m sure they’re delicious with store-bought breadcrumbs too, but I’m just such a fan of the fresh, flavorful ones I make myself. It’s truly so easy to do and I love that it eliminates food waste. Have some bread ends sitting around? Nobody likes to make their sandwich from those anyways. I can’t recommend checking out a recipe more than that one. It’s one of those DIY recipes that’s just a total lightbulb moment! You’ll think to yourself ‘why haven’t I always done this!?’.
