FROZEN BANANA POPS

Happy 4th of July! We’re celebrating America’s independence with frozen banana pops over here. I don’t know why I don’t make them more often. They’re the perfect summer treat! Easy to make and delicious to eat. Here’s what you’ll need to make your own:

FROZEN BANANA POPS

Prep time: 1 hr 20 minutes

Serves: 6
3 ripe bananas
6 popsicle sticks… I used paper straws
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips, melted
2 strawberries, finely chopped
1 tbsp nut butter
1/4 tsp coconut oil
Cut your bananas in half and insert your straw/popsicle stick to the flat side. Melt your chocolate (I put it in the microwave in 30 second increments) in one bowl and mix your nut butter + coconut oil in another. Dip the tops of the bananas in your chocolate bowl and lay on parchment paper. Drizzle & sprinkle with toppings! Nut butter mixture or strawberries for a patriotic theme! Pop them in the freezer for an hour and enjoy!
